Your wallet can be funded using Naira via bank transfer or debit card. In the app, tap 'Add Funds' from your wallet dashboard, select your funding method, enter the amount, and follow the prompts. Funds are typically reflected within a few minutes. If there are issues or delays, contact support@batiwi.com.
Go to Wallet → Withdraw, enter your Nigerian bank account details (account number and bank name) and the amount you wish to withdraw. Withdrawals are processed within 1–3 business days. You must complete KYC verification before your first withdrawal.
No. For security and regulatory compliance, withdrawals can only be made to a bank account registered in your own name. This helps protect your funds and comply with anti-money laundering requirements.
The minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts are displayed in the app at the time of your transaction. Batiwi is designed to be accessible, so you can start with small amounts.
Deposits are free. A small platform fee is deducted from winning positions at resolution. Withdrawal fees (if applicable) are always shown in full before you confirm — there are no hidden charges.
KYC (Know Your Customer) is a legal identity verification process required by financial regulators. It helps prevent fraud and money laundering. You will need to complete KYC before making your first withdrawal by providing a government-issued ID and, in some cases, a selfie.
Verification is usually approved within 24 hours. In some cases it may take up to 48 hours. You will receive a notification once your verification is complete.
On the login screen, tap 'Forgot Password' and enter your registered email address or phone number. You will receive a reset link or code. If you still cannot access your account, contact support@batiwi.com.
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in Profile → Security. Use a strong, unique password and never share it with anyone. Batiwi will never ask for your password via email or chat.
Contact support@batiwi.com immediately with your account email and a description of the suspicious activity. We will investigate and, if necessary, temporarily freeze your account to prevent further unauthorised transactions.
